How Do, You Do?

DO YOU EVER WAKE UP WITH A WORD, FROM HIS WORD, ON YOUR MIND? I MEAN, MAYBE, JUST A FRAGMENT OF SCRIPTURE, HIDDEN DEEP IN SOME OBSCURE PASSAGE IN THE BIBLE?

ONE MORNING AS THE SUN PEEKED AT ME THROUGH THE OTHER SIDE OF IT'S PROMISED ROTATION.

A WORD CAME TO MIND, DEMANDING MY CONSIDERATION.

I WRESTLED WITH IT'S MEANING, AS MY SPIRIT CONQUERED MY WEARINESS ONE MORE MORNING.

MY THOUGHTS ZEROED IN ON THIS ONE WORD, LIKE A MARKSMAN DIALS IN ON DISTANT TARGET.

WORDS RAMPANTLY RAN THROUGH MY BRAIN, LIKE THE LONDON FOG, AFTER A MORNING RAIN. LIKE A HAMMER STRIKING A NAIL, IT BEGAN TO UNVEIL A SERIOUS THOUGHT OF THE WORD FOR THOSE WHO PREVAIL.

LIKE A WIND IN MY FACE, IT BEGAN TO UNFOLD, AND MY MIND WAS ABLAZE, LIKE AFIRE TO BEHOLD.

THESE WORDS WERE LIKE WORKMAN UNCOVERING TRUTH AS I MUZED AT THERE MEANING, LIKE TOKENS FOR USE.

Puzzlement, confusion, bewilderment, incomprehension, bafflement, mystification, stupefaction, complexity, difficulty, mystery, involvement, puzzle, paradox, obscurity, enigma, intricacy, inextricability, difficulty, dilemma, snarl, fix, uphill how-do-you-do, can of worms, knotty problem, befuddlement, bewilderedness, bewilderment, daze, discombobulation, fog, muddle, mystification, puzzlement, stupefaction, stupor, trance, conundrum, enigma, mystery, puzzle, puzzler, riddle, to puzzle or confuse (someone); to make (someone) unable to understand.

My chief perplexity was how to interpret these words and the word Perplexity is only found five times in all the words in the BOOK OF BOOKS.

HAVE YOU EVER DANCED LIKE DAVID DID?

HAVE YOU EVER REJOICED AND SANG LIKE DAVID DID OR HAVE YOU EVER FELT LIKE DAVID DID AS HE POURED OUT HIS ANGUISH BEFORE GOD AND HE IS NOT BY HIMSELF.

1 Chronicles 21:13 AMPC
And David said to Gad, I am in great and distressing perplexity; let me fall, I pray you, into the hands of the Lord, for very great and many are His mercies; but let me not fall into the hands of man.

Job 36:16 AMPC
Indeed, God would have allured you out of the mouth of distress into a broad place where there is no situation of perplexity or privation; and that which would be set on your table would be full of fatness.

Isaiah 22:5 AMPC
For it is a day of discomfiture and of tumult, of treading down, of confusion and perplexity from the Lord God of hosts in the Valley of Vision, a day of breaking down the walls and of crying to the mountains.

Micah 7:4 AMPC
The best of them is like a brier; the most upright or the straightest is like a thorn hedge. The day of your watchmen, even of [God's] judgment and your punishment, has come; now shall be their perplexity.

Luke 21:25 AMPC
And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars; and upon the earth [there will be] distress (trouble and anguish) of nations in bewilderment and perplexity [without resources, left wanting, embarrassed, in doubt, not knowing which way to turn] at the roaring (the echo) of the tossing of the sea,

Yes, I am not by myself as I look around at what is taking place as warriors make the nations around ISRAEL AND JERUSALEM A PLAY GROUND. Here is how some translators attempt to describe this day.

Luke 21:25-26 MSG
"It will seem like all hell has broken loose--sun, moon, stars, earth, sea, in an uproar and everyone all over the world in a panic, the wind knocked out of them by the threat of doom, the powers-that-be quaking.

Luke 21:25-28 Phillips
20-28 "But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armed forces, then you will know that the time of her devastation has arrived. Then is the time for those who are in Judea to fly to the hills. And those who are in the city itself must get out of it, and those who are already in the country must not try to get into the city. For these are the days of vengeance, when all that the scriptures have said will come true. Alas for those who are pregnant and those who have tiny babies in those days! For there will be bitter misery in the land and great anger against this people. They will die by the sword. They will be taken off as prisoners into all nations. Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the heathen until the heathen's day is over. There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth there will be dismay among the nations and bewilderment at the roar of the surging sea. Men's courage will fail completely as they realize what is threatening the world, for the very powers of heaven will be shaken. Then men will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with great power and splendor! But when these things begin to happen, look up, hold your heads high, for you will soon be free."

All of this is the result of just waking up with a word, playing like a broken record over and over in my mind and now you can join me in my morning thoughts. PERPLEXITY, PERPLEXITY, PERPLEXITY.

ARE WE LIVING IN A GET READY DAY OR ARE YOU READY FOR THE SOUND OF THE TRUMPET?

Back in the day we would often see this motto: WE ARE A GOING CHURCH FOR A COMING CHRIST. I DON'T WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN WITHOUT YOU.
