I am writing this for those who are presently going through what we might call a spiritual storm.
The Bible is not silent when it comes to storms, as matter of fact He has this to say when it comes to storms:
The Storm
Job was not naïve when it came to the power that storms can produce and he mentions it like this. I love how he speaks of the storms passing. Some of you will remember this song:
As I was writing this a strong thunder storm rolled through and I was safe inside the house, the storm was hostile for about thirty minutes and then it passed over, no damage, no floods, no broken tree limbs, or downed power lines. Now in the distance I can here it as thunders on across the clearing skies and the fresh smell of summer rain, has been left behind.
It was King David, who speaks about a refuge and a safe place from the storms of life along with the Prophet Isaiah who knew the provision of shelter from the storms of life.

In closing, a second storm is rolling through with stronger winds, more rain, and stronger lightning but it too will pass.
