Love One Another

Albania had a place in our heart, long before the Iron Curtain came down this nation was on my prayer radar. I would imagine myself traveling across the nation in a passenger bus looking out the window and praying for the most Godless nation in the world at that time. Little did I know that one of our friends would spend the last 20 years there in the nations capitol serving the body of Christ and leading a prayer movement that plays a major role in Europe. What he has done in Albania is give his life away and sow himself into the lives of the next generation. I encourage you to join us in praying for Barry Ogden during these challenging times. You may not know this, but a small lady from Albania made a real impact upon the Christian community over the past 50 years. She was affectionately called, Mother Teresa. She gave her life away in her mission in Calcutta.

What was it about her that brought such attention to her and her work? It was her undying passion for mankind. On one occasion she made this searching statement:

"I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love."

John 13:34-35 The Passion Translation

34 "So I give you now a new commandment: Love each other just as much as I have loved you. 35 For when you demonstrate the same love I have for you by loving one another, everyone will know that you're my true followers."

His demonstration of love for us is the true standard of love and becomes the measurement by which we are to love one another. Love demands forgiveness, which is a requirement if we desire, to keep on loving. In Matthew 18, the metaphor for forgiveness is 70x7, which means; an attitude of forgiveness that is limitless. Why is it so important to forgive because faith works by love and we have to live in the love zone if we would see the hand of God in our daily life? Don't Quit Forgiving, Do you know what we all need? We need to Give up on Giving up.

We believe in you,

Your loving pastor's Cleddie and GayNell
