Resurrection Greetings to all the Heritage Family of Believers and Friends,
YES! HE IS RISEN
(THE QUESTION REMAINS IS HE ALIVE IN YOU?)
Have you noticed that in the Book of Revelations each chapter has a distinctive message? For instance, Chapter 4 gives us a vision of the Creator; Chapter 5 a vision of the Redeemer. In Chapter 4 we find the central theme to be: The Throne, and chapter 5 the theme is: The Book. This is what took place after the resurrection of the King of Kings from the borrowed tomb. We have a picture of the Father sharing His Throne with His Son. All of this was written to bring comfort to His Church, forever and ever. There are 51 references to His Throne in the New Testament, and 40 of them are found in the Book of Revelations. Chapter 4 gives us a glimpse of what it is like, "Behold a throne was set in heaven and one sitting on the throne." It was the throne of God and the Lamb; and if you read it, you will see that there was rainbow round about the throne. The one born King entered the world via a virgin womb and left from an empty tomb.
I speak with people on a weekly-basis who share their concerns with me about the future. Young parents, senior citizens, young adults and teenagers all have the same questions about what is going to take place in the next few years. None of us can tell what the future holds; it seems things we used to be able to rely on have gotten out of control. The only place I can encourage you to go, is to the Word of God. I put myself in John's place as he sees the book, and WEEPS OVER IT, in Revelations chapter 4. What book are we speaking of? It is the scroll of history found in Daniel chapter 12; the sealed prophecy that had been shut up. John was weeping because no one was found to open the book;
BUT WAIT.
Revelation 5 King James Version
5 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
7 And THE LAMB CAME AND TOOK THE BOOK OUT OF THE RIGHT HAND OF HIM THAT SAT UPON THE THRONE.
He is the Lion and the Lamb, but we see here that he did not prevail as a Lion but as a Lamb. It is a special, favorite, worthy Lamb. How could he open the books that no one could open? Because He had the "keys." Jesus is the key to history and the key to the Word of God. Did you notice what happened next as you read from these passages before us?
HEAVEN BROKE OUT IN SONG (Revelation 5:8-10)
8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odors, which are the prayers of saints. 9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 And have made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
The scene went from weeping to singing.
Wall Street and the capital buildings around the earth cannot play the futures at this time. It is a sure thing that politico, plus top scientist (so called), and educators have plenty of mud on their face already, as they attempt to change the rhetoric of times and seasons; but it is the Risen savior that holds the keys. We have peace in the midst of sorrow. We have peace in the midst of every storm. We have peace though the world is raging, in the shelter of His arms.
I love to bless you with the Word of God. As a matter of fact there are very few things that can compare with this privilege.
"FOR YOU KNOW THE GRACE OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, THAT THOUGH HE WAS RICH, YET FOR OUR SAKES HE BECAME POOR THAT WE THROUGH HIS POVERTY MIGHT BE MADE RICH." IN THIS CHAPTER HE IS TALKING ABOUT MONEY. IT IS IN THIS VERSE HE IS SPEAKING ABOUT BECOMING RICH MONETARILY AND SPIRITUALLY. JOIN ME IN LEANING INTO THE PROMISE, AS WE MOVE TOWARD THE ADVANTAGEOUS DAYS AHEAD."
GayNell and I count it an honor to serve you and the Body of Christ along with you.
Remember Today, I believe in you.
