SPRING GREETINGS TO ALL OUR CHURCH FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF HERITAGE,
As you read this letter, it may seem like just and ordinary day. Dietrich Bonhoeffer made this profound statement: "In ordinary life, we hardly realize that we receive a great deal more than we give; and it is only with gratitude that life becomes rich." I have been thinking about how ordinary people's days and lives have become in the last year. Someone said, "The most difficult thing in life to endure is a string of ordinary days." Could it be knowing all things work together for good to them that love God and that He has chosen to take the ordinary to prepare your for the EXTRA-ORDINARY? When you find yourself locked into the ordinary same old same old, it could be a good day to go on a scavenger hunt for the extraordinary,
I found this gem of insight recently and felt like you may appreciate it as I have:
THE SPIRIT OF PENTECOST
IS PRACTICING HOLINESS
ON ORDINARY DAYS
Fifty years ago, I memorized this poem and it keeps me on tiptoes, with baited breath and expectant anticipation.
Just An Ordinary Day
Sometime some ordinary day will come,
A busy day like this—filled to the brim
With ordinary tasks—perhaps so full
That we have little thought or care for Him.
And there will be no hint from silent skies,
No sign, no clash of cymbals, roll of drums;
And yet that ordinary day will be The very day in which our Lord will come.

"Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober." I Thess. 5:6
"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior, Jesus Christ." Titus 2:13
I believe in you and I believe He can still transform life into the extraordinary; just like He changed water into wine. He is the game of life's game changer.
You are loved and appreciated and prayed for,
