GIFT TO THE CONQUERORS

To all the Members and friends of Heritage Fellowship,
Top of the Morning to you, this letter is sealed with a prayer for you to have a grace filled day. I woke up early this morning with these verses and thoughts on my mind,

Zechariah 7:13-14

The Message
11-13 "But did your ancestors listen? No, they set their jaws in defiance. They shut their ears. They steeled themselves against God's revelation and the Spirit-filled sermons preached by the earlier prophets by order of God-of-the-Angel-Armies. And God became angry, really angry, because he told them everything plainly and they wouldn't listen to a word he said.

13-14 "So [this is what God-of-the-Angel-Armies said If they won't listen to me, I won't listen to them. I scattered them to the four winds. They ended up strangers wherever they were. Their 'promised land' became a vacant lot—weeds and tin cans and thistles. Not a sign of life."

An acquaintance mine had a dream, in the dream he saw himself in Moleg, Scotland going door to door and people were being saved from house to house. Then he awakened from his sleep and went to the front door of his home to collect his mail. On the front page of a periodical he received that day, was a street scene of Moleg, Scotland. HE DID NOT GO….thirty-two years later his son had a dream about a city in America. He went and God blessed his obedience. My
mind raced through the scripture as I continued to meditate on the story of rejecting the vision, which God gave him. It was them I turned my attention to the Song of Solomon 5:2-7.

The Message
The Woman
2 I was sound asleep, but in my dreams, I was wide awake.
Oh, listen! It's the sound of my lover knocking, calling!
The Man
"Let me in, dear companion, dearest friend,
my dove, consummate lover!
I'm soaked with the dampness of the night,
drenched with dew, shivering and cold."
The Woman
3"But I'm in my nightgown—do you expect me to get dressed?
I'm bathed and in bed—do you want me to get dirty?"
4-7But my lover wouldn't take no for an answer,
and the longer he knocked, the more excited I became.
I got up to open the door to my lover,
sweetly ready to receive him,
Desiring and expectant
as I turned the door handle.
But when I opened the door he was gone.
"My loved one had tired of waiting and left."
And I died inside—oh, I felt so bad!
I ran out looking for him
But he was nowhere to be found.
I called into the darkness—but no answer.
The night watchmen found me
as they patrolled the streets of the city.
They slapped and beat and bruised me,
ripping off my clothes,
These watchmen,
who were supposed to be guarding the city.
I don't think it would be wrong for me to suggest that the Lover of our Souls in The Year of Our
Lord, 2021 is knocking at the door of the church.

In Revelations 3:20,21 we read:
"Look at me. I stand at the door. I knock. If you hear me call and open the door, I'll come right in
and sit down to supper with you. Conquerors will sit alongside me at the head table, just as I,
having conquered, took the place of honor at the side of my Father.

THAT'S MY GIFT TO THE CONQUERORS.

This my friend is a timely word, please don't turn Him away.
