Laugh At The Days To Come

The First Week of November 2021,

Thank you for Forty Years of Friendship, Fellowship and Faithfulness as we have Followed our God Given Passion and have literally spent life together. 1981-2021

GayNell and I feel immense appreciation for the way you have honored us during this month of Pastor's Appreciation. We have been overwhelmed by your expressions of love; let me say for both of us, "we really value and respect this honor", please accept our heartfelt thanks for this month of blessings. Someone asked, "How does it feel to serve a church for 40 years?" My reply is this, when you love what you are doing and serve people you love, it is like having a family around you who are your friends and the times seems to just fly by." It really does fly by when you are having fun.

I found a great verse for the times in which we live and felt like you would appreciate this timely
word.

"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come" –
Proverbs 31:25

This wonderful verse speaks about the sterling woman of Proverbs 31. In this chapter you realize she is a blessed woman but she does not put her trust in riches. She can laugh at days to come because she does what tomorrow may bring. According to verse 25, "she is clothed with strength and dignity". Let me give you a glimpse into where her confidence ultimately was connected: "Charm can be misleading, and beauty is vain and so quickly fades, but this virtuous woman lives in the wonder, awe and fear of the Lord. She will be praised throughout eternity." Proverbs 31:30 The future should not make us anxious but create within us an anticipation of what we are looking forward to. We are being prepared for what He has prepared for us. You can take His word for it.

I believe in you,

Pastor Cleddie Keith

Let me remind you the preparation for the Million Dollar Clothing Give Away is November 20th, the week before Thanksgiving, we are packing the tote bags now and we still need help if you would like to be a part of giving back to the community. Sometimes you will hear people say about the needs of our present day, "Somebody has to do something." This is one way you can answer that plea. Call the office if you would like to be hooked up to become a part of this outstanding project.
