Stand For Righteousness

May the Lord shine upon you today, the Light of the World brighten your pathway, and clothe you with Light, for His Light is the Life of men.

This past weekend, on September the 15th, I was in Van Wert, Ohio with Pastors Brad and Carla Custis. They have moved out of their former church location and into a beautiful church building, that covers 3/4th of entire block. The new building is in good repair and has a lovely sanctuary, class rooms, cafeteria, reception area, offices, several bathrooms, children and youth meeting places and so much more. The building was built by sacrifice, love and sweat equity and was the result of a revival in the Wesley Methodist Church, where many families came to Christ. For many years it had become a lighthouse in the community where it is located. Recently, they separated from their denomination because they had become a part of the secular landslide where people have chosen moral depravity over conscience, moral ethics, and Biblical truth. (GENDER CHANGE FOR CHILDREN, ABORTION, SAME SEX MARRIAGE AND CULTURAL CORRUPTION).

One woman, who had worked with the children for several years, left the church because she wanted the church in essence to be politically correct; she voted with her feet. When we saw some of her work we were impressed with her talent, but talent is not a replacement for anointing. I salute the congregation for their stance. The church had split and those who stood for righteousness stayed to fight the good fight of faith.

As happens in many cases I have seen congregations dwindle in time to only a hand full of
people, as in this case. Only a handful of Godly people, with convictions that they want to see this building used for the glory and purpose of God. They were praying for a younger
congregation to join them, so this is where Pastor Brad and Carla came into the picture as an answer to prayer.

I can't tell you how happy I am for what is taking place there at this time. You would be so
proud of them and their love for the city. Recently, they took a team of 16 to Kenya where they had traveled with a team from Heritage and the Shake the Nations, in one of Nathan Morris first Crusades to Busia, Kenya. They went into the villages and schools and as a result several thousand people, young and old, gave their lives to Christ.

You would be so proud of them as you watch them lead the Church on the Horizon's congregation forward into the purpose of God. As I have watched them grow into the special people they have become I celebrate their passion and commitment to the calling of God.

While I was there yesterday I picked up a paper I thought you would appreciate me sharing
with you, written by Megan Gladwell. It is an excellent article and I encourage you to take time to read it and share it with others.

I also want to remind you of the 50th anniversary of Heritage on October 10-13th with our special speakers and friends of Heritage. Tell as many as you can, the latch is on the outside of the door. We will have Dinner on the grounds special music and as always we have invited the Holy Spirit to come and confirm the Word with signs following.

May this week be a week of multiplied blessing to you and yours.

Your loving pastors,

Pastor Cleddie and GayNell Keith
