A Message In The Snow

A few days ago, we experienced our largest snow fall in several years. Our faithful men in the church always rise to the occasion in situations like this, and they do not even have to be asked. There in is the value of the moving parts.

Over the years I have done what I can to inform people about the different motivational gifts found in Romans 12. It helps to see this being demonstrated in our congregation. It also makes the body of Christ more effective in spiritual warfare. In saying this, let me say, "thank you" to the guys who have pushed and shoveled snow to make our campus safer during the unseasonable weather in the beginning of 2025.

Last week I was walking out of the parlor and just a few steps out into the parking lot, I saw what I thought was a credit card. It was laying in the mush where snow had been plowed. I reached down and picked it up, only to find it was a gift card - a gift card from heaven.

As a reminder, I took a picture with my phone of a message lost in the snow:

The Bible makes it clear sin speaks of the darkness.
See Romans 13:11-13

Spiritually, darkness is brought on by SIN. Darkness gratifies the sinful nature, lulls a person to sleep spiritually, and provides a cover for evil. But this darkness is so thick, man cannot find his way around it, through it, or out of it. The solution to this dilemma will come at "daybreak," "in the morning," "when the day dawns." Even as nothing can prevent the coming of dawn, neither can anything prevent the coming of Christ!

I FOUND THE ANCIENT ANSWER TO THIS LONG DESPERATE QUESTION.

We all benefit from this powerful text, and it is a beautiful text to find in the snow.

During the Fast, we walk in the power of God's Promise, along with the Promise of Cleansing.

Happy New Year, once again.
