Hope you are having a God filled week. I stop today and acknowledge GOD IS WITH ME NOW! This is not all I do, I stop from time to time and place my hand on my heart and say out loud and proud, NO FEAR LIVES HERE!
"HE THAT DWELLETH IN THE SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH SHALL ABIDE IN THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY".
"HE THAT KEEPS US SHALL NOT SLUMBER NOR SLEEP AND IN HIM THERE IS NO SHADOW, OF TURNING."
Last week these words rang out in stadiums across America, PLAY BALL!!! IT WAS OPENING DAY IN THE NEIGHBOR HOOD!!
And looking back it was a ball player that had these searching words to say:
This is one of the hundreds of sayings of a turn of the century evangelist. His name was Billy Sunday, who was a great professional baseball player. He was one of the best in his day. Billy was a Fire and Brimstone preacher greatly loved in his time. It is recorded that he led 300,000 to Christ in his day. Statistics say that he lined up on God's side. For instance, he said:
He wrote on one occasion:
On another hand, one of the greatest baseball players of all times in America; Hall of Famer, Ty Cobb, had this to say just before he died in 1961: "Tell the boys that I am sorry it was in the last part of the ninth inning I came to know Christ. I wish I had taken him as my Savior in the first half of the first. Don't let it be that way with you."
Time and Eternity are speaking to us today and we cannot avoid the truth that they are both in His hands, and we each have a decision to make. It is the hour of decision, and the decision is in your hand.
God Loves you, but only you alone can make the decision concerning your own soul, please don't turn Him away.

Let's quit fiddling with religion and do something to bring the World to Christ.
- Both Alcohol and Beer have their place, and that is in Hell.
- If you want to drive the devil out of the world, hit him with a cradle instead of a crutch.
- I'm against sin. I'll kick it as long as I've got a foot, and I'll fight it as long as I've got a fist. I'll butt it as long as I've got a head. I'll bite it as long as I've got a tooth. And when I'm old and fistless and footless and toothless, I'll gum it till I go home to Glory, and it goes home to perdition!
- Churches don't need new members half so much as they need the old bunch made over.
- Look into the preaching Jesus did and you will find it was aimed straight at the big sinners on the front seats.
- If you lack joy, your Christianity must be leaking somewhere.
- Your reputation is what people say about you; Your character is what God, and your wife know about you.
- I have more respect for the devil than for some preachers I have met; the devil believes the Bible is the Word of God!
- Sinners cannot find God for the same reason that criminals cannot find a policeman; They aren't looking!
- Hell is the highest reward that the devil can offer you for being a servant of his.
- "Live so that when the final summons comes you will leave something more behind you than an epitaph on a tombstone or an obituary in a newspaper."
- There are two hundred and fifty-six names given in the Bible for the Lord Jesus Christ, and I suppose this was because He was infinitely beyond all that any one name could express.
Twenty-nine years ago, with Holy Spirit as my guide, "I entered at the portico of Genesis, walked down the corridor of the Old Testament art galleries, where pictures of Noah, Abraham, Moses, Joseph, Isaac, Jacob, and Daniel hang on the wall. I passed into the music room of Psalms, where Spirit sweeps the keyboard of nature until it seems that every reed and pipe of God's great organ responds to the harp of David, the sweet singer of Israel.
I entered the chamber of Ecclesiastes where the preacher is, into the conservatory of Sharon, the Lily of the Valley, and where sweet spices filled and perfumed my life.
I entered the business office of Proverbs, and on into the Observatory of the Prophets, where I saw telescopes of various sizes pointing to far-off events, concentrating on the bright and morning star which was to rise above the moonlit hills of Judea for our salvation and redemption.
I entered the audience room of the King of Kings catching a vision written by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Thence into the correspondence room with Paul, Peter, James and John writing the epistles.
I stepped into the Throne room of Revelation, where towers, glittering peaks, and where sits the King of Kings with the Healing of the Nations in His hand, and I cried out:
ALL HAIL THE POWER OF JESUS NAME
LET ANGELS PROSTRATE FALL
BRING FORTH THE ROYAL DIADEM
AND CROWN HIM LORD OF ALL
AND CROWN HIM LORD OF ALL"
