Sending The Love Of God Your Way

As we merge into Spring, with smiles on our faces. I was thinking about how much we as Christians are like a periodical magazine or a reality television show. David had this to say about our lives, "We spend our years as a day that is told."

Last Sunday, our team of 16 returned from Michoacán, Mexico and their stories had providence written in each testimony. The hot tears of eternal value ran down their cheeks as they told how it impacted them. They were working with some who were the poorest of the poor, Indians from the mountains who had never had the privilege of being in such a gathering. It was as hot as it can be that close to the equator, even though they were high in the mountains. I was blessed when I heard the story of how that some did not have money for snacks or water. One of our families stepped in when they heard the issue and paid for them to have what they needed to take care of the problem. It is not just an obligation but also a privilege to listen to their powerful stories. They are like periodicals or should I say, reality shows, divinely directed and produced by God Himself.

Over the years we have taken many teams around the world. The reason we have done this is, as a Pastor, I know travel is a good education. Gary K. shared how that he went with us 41 years ago and he has never stopped.

His destiny is both providential and obedient. We appreciate the impact that we have had worldwide, through Gary's long obedience in the same direction.

When I heard about the conflict between India and Pakistan this week, my first thought was we have Palmyr's Playhouses in both nations. I prayed. As of Sunday, we are moving forward on the Playhouse in Michoacán, Mexico. The cost for this latest location was taken care of in the Sunday Service!

The tears, the passion, the love for the youth, spoke to the hearts of all of us who were in the meeting and people responded with their sacrificial offerings. The heartstrings of my love for Mexico begin to play as they have over and over through the years. It was as though our team had crawled into the eyes of Jesus and began to see the people as He does.  This is not just a statement; it is a challenge to all of us on how a burden is born. I want to thank Branden and the Team that felt the call to travel to Morelia. This is how we position ourselves for a call to follow.

Sunday, I called up an old motto of the church back in the nineteen sixties:
WE ARE A GOING CHURCH
FOR A COMING CHRIST
I believe in You,

Pastor Cleddie
