July 12th through the 14th in celebrating 30 years in the River! In 1994 the presence of God came down in a very real and powerful way and changed our church forever. All through the late 90’s tens of thousands of people were touched through the ministries of Heritage. Till this day there are people in ministry all over the world whose hearts were given a fire that they could not keep to themselves. We've continued to meet every Friday night for the past 30 years to seek the presence of God and we invite you to join us in the celebration all weekend long!
Song Writers Contest
Saturday, July 13th
we’re hosting a song writers contest, with special guest Kent Henry. Kent is a world-renowned recording artist who has written and recorded many songs, such as: I worship you almighty God, Awesome in this place, There is none like you, Take me in, He is exalted, and many more!
If you have a passion to write, record, or produce music that glorifies the name of Jesus then this event is for you! Maybe you are the person who is just starting your song writing journey, or maybe you have written many songs, or maybe you have incredible talent but just haven’t had that chance to have your sound released…. this is your chance to perform your ORIGINAL worship song!
There will be a keyboard, an acoustic guitar available for contestants to use or you can bring your own instrument. Performers can have a singer perform their own ORIGINAL song or have back up musicians, but we ask that you keep your set acoustic. Prizes are for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, with a $500 grand prize for 1st place along with a free recording session for your song at Iron Wing Studios.
